Backlinks Do Follow Blogs PR3-PR6
I did some reading today in StartUpBiz about getting backlinks to your blog by posting comments in other people's blogs. The article I read stated that some search engines do not follow comments in certain blogs but the owners can install a plug in that allows the search engines to follow the comments and therefore index the comments and the associated hyperlinks in them as backlinks to your blog.
The author provided a list of PR3-PR6 blogs and in the comments of the post, a few other blogs are mentioned as well.

MyBlogLog & Snapvine & Review...
MyBlogLog
I have found MyBlogLog to be an interesting blogging community. I now run several blogs here on blogger as I have divided my interests out into several blogs instead of trying to post everything into one blog. I really like how MyBlogLog puts its web gadget together and includes many things like links to popular social networking sites (which it calls 'services'), a bio, a picture, and a way to track followers. If you are technically inclined and put in a small piece of html code into your actual blog template, you can also get blog statistics through their service.
Snapvine
Snapvine allows you to create voice related gadgets for your website. You can set up voice comments, a voice blog, and an outgoing voice message. I used an outgoing voice message on one of my capture pages.
Review of a fellow blogger's article on Twitter
I recently wrote an article about Twitter and Twellow, and have since then discovered another interesting article on Twitter. I enjoy the ideas for using Twitter that the author has presented. In about 24 hours since posting my post, I've gained another 10 followers going up to 37 followers now on Twitter, without any further promotion besides setting up my initial Twellow post. Something is working!
Squidoo Update
Last week I worked hard on a new Squidoo lens about a Christian Musician named Mandisa. That lens has become my highest ranked lens to date. I started some other lens that are not yet complete, and also have a list of other new ideas. I am really excited about this adventure allowing me to use some of my writing and creative skills and hopefully getting some new notoriety on the web. I'm posting an update on my current rankings on finished lens. Only one of my lens dropped ranking and that lens, I did not work on in the past month. I'm abreviating the lens names here, for full details, please visit my lensmaster profile.

Mandisa - From American Idol To Instant Fame
Because Mandisa has touched my life so much, I have made a website to tell the story of how I came to know about her. I've also listed a favorite song and youtube video voting system; a feed reader that posts recent news articles about her and a link to her myspace page. Please enjoy!

MaxGXL Glutathione
A good friend of mine said that MaxGXL uses studies from another product to sell MaxGXL and also the method that MaxGXL uses to increase glutathione levels is the same method used in emergency rooms and it is not recommended for daily use in humans.

Squidoo, Brian's Newest Adventure
Hello Friends!
I have decided to start becoming a Squidoo Lensmaster. At this time, I have crafted three different lenses.
My highest ranked lens thus far is Brian's Awesome Home Businesses (BAHB), with a current ranking of 112,138. With this lens, I am going to promote the businesses I am currently active. My other lenses are Whole Food Liquid Nutritional Supplements (WFLNS) and The Truth About Mineral Nutrition (TTAMN). With WFLNS, I am going to showcase many different liquid products in the industry, some of which I promote as well as some of which I do not promote. I am also going to have a voting system where people can come by and vote on which products are their favorite. This lens is an experiment into an idea where I talk about my knowledge of this topic, but not only address the products I sell but others in the industry as well in efforts to build a more general audience to my writing. With TTAMN I aim to share my knowledge of angstrom sized water soluble minerals.
Current Squidoo Rankings:
BAHB 112,138
WFLNS 121,648
TTAMN 133,972
I plan to launch many more lenses in the near future. Hopefully some day I will be classified as a "Giant Squid" which is an elite classification among the community.

Randi Rhodes and Dennis Prager
To Randi Rhodes: Dr. Dennis Prager has announced on his radio show that he would love to agree to either or both of these scenarios:
1.) An interview aired on the radio directly between the two of you where you debate the morality of any single issue.
2.) An agreement where you host one hour of Dr. Dennis Prager's show to his audience and where he hosts one our of the Randi Rhodes show to your audience. During that hour both of you take callers from the audience and interact with them.
So what say ye Randi Rhodes?

Marriage Protection Amendment
Defining marriage as one man and one woman is NOT discrimination. To say it is, is to show that you do not know or understand the meaning of discrimination. Right now, two individuals cannot enter into marriage without abiding by a few rules, which may vary depending on your specific state. For example, you must prove or attest that you are not related and that you do not have certain sexually transmitted diseases.
Marriage is much more than just a state issued liscense. The "intent" of this lisence is that it is not to expire. You do not need to re-certify or renew your marriage liscense. There are no ways that the state can come in and revoke or cancel your marriage. Every other state issued liscense you purchase has specific expiry limits and also conditions on which the state may revoke or cancel the liscense. I could explain other differences, but argument on the basis of a marriage just being a simple state issued liscense is an extremely weak on and shows you do not truly understand or appreciate the true meaning of marriage.
Marriage should not be issued simply on the basis of your sexual preference or who you love. I love my mom. Should I be allowed to marry her? I love my dog. Should I be allowed to marry her? Should I be allowed to marry two or more women?
The issue is also not specific to a religion. I only know of one religion that approves of a marriage between 2 members of the same sex. Which religion is that? Atheism. All other religions, that I am aware, share a unity in the morality of marriage being between man and woman (some allow poligamy) and most share a belief that same gender sex is undesirable. There is nothing PROGRESSIVE about having a belief that same gender relationships are acceptable, much less wanting to redefining concepts of marriage and the true meaning of a family. Beliefs such as this simply show that you stand against the grain of all major world religions, many of which have a several thousand year track record of holding these beliefs.
The voting record of 19 states has shown a majority interest in defining marriage as one man and one woman. Some states are in the 70%.

Powerline System for Eniva

I am so excited that I now have an automated online system for the promotion of my Eniva home business.
Yesterday, I modified a series of followup autoresponder letters and added them to my autoresponder. After uploading my first batch of leads, I've already seen a few pre-enrollees join this system. It is getting very exciting!
Along with promoting this site through a few traffic tools, I am looking forward to a very prosperous time using this system.

News Hounds Blog Site Banned Me
Free Speech? Nope. Not at Newshounds Forum.
In the last week, I have been posting with simply one profile name, blathe. I found the regulars at the forum to be quite rude and not very good at debate. So be careful of liberals, they must not like free speech.

Here are some great websites:

Bushflash.com / Bill O'Reilly / Cindy Sheehan
Bushflash.com has a new video with Cindy Sheehan. It contains an audio clip with many voices including Bill O'Reilly saying the word "treasonous". In all fairness to Bill O'Reilly, I believe his words were used out of context. I am calling for the makers of this video to post the full transcript?
Sami Habbas & Chase Bank
Sami Habbas, an American who served in the US armed forces, recently received a credit card solicitation from Chase which addressed him as "Dear Mr. Palestinian Bomber". (Fox News, "Fox and Friends" 8/25/2005 7am)
My viewpoint: I am sure he likely filled out a survey or information request of some type calling himself that.

Hartmann's article indicates that government regulations create the middle class. He
In my comments, I state the author, Thom Hartman, has not made strong arguements to his statements.

Northwest Airlines Strike, But I Have Good News!
Northwest Airlines mechanics have been having trouble for many months. This affected a close friend of mine. He took a severance package knowing that if he had kept his job, he might not have a guaranteed chance of being able to keep it. As it has played out, the mechanics are now on strike. Fortunately, I have good news! My friend's wife worked hard building a homebased network marketing business and the family's financial scenario still looks good.
